The County Links on the left will keep you specifically in Cumberland County and the Southern Shore Region of NJ. We add new listings and links on a regular basis.
Since its separation from Salem County in January of 1748, until now, Cumberland County has grown into a region of almost 150,000 people who compose a multifaceted community of diverse ethnic groups. Each of these groups have contributed to the rich cultural heritage of our 14 townships, boroughs, and municipalities. Founded on a firm agricultural base, which continues to flourish today, progress had brought the glass, canning, oyster, and clothing industries to our County. Today, Cumberland County continues to progress as retail businesses and manufacturing concerns seek the attractions of our area. Cumberland County offers a quiet paced style often considered lost along the East Coast, with vast wetlands, undisturbed stretches of the Delaware Bay, roadside vegetable stands, and a rich glassblowing heritage.
